History

Based on the South East coast of Kent, Novatec was founded in 1996 with a team of 4 people. Success came quickly to Novatec by focusing on the core principles of quality, service and design and within 18 months Novatec had expanded into larger premises.

In 1998, Novatec realised there was a gap in the market for contemporary design and launched its second brand eclectics.
Since then the company has continued to expand moving to bigger and better premises.

Today

Novatec Ltd today produces some of the finest, made to measure blinds for the home market produced in the UK. Available from most quality soft furnishing, furniture and Department stores (see our stockist list). We have six unique collections offering a wide selection of blind types, including Rollers, Romans, Verticals, Sliding Panels, Wood and Aluminium Venetians, covering all price points from budget to premium. We have hundreds of fabrics, colours and textures in our ranges to suit the needs of traditional to contemporary customers.

At Novatec we endeavour to offer something a little different. By spotting trends early, using new technology and sourcing fabrics from around the world we can produce something really unique. Novatec also invests in exclusive, design led fabrics by working in partnership with well respected designers. Some of our most recent designers include Clarissa Hulse famous for delicate, botanical silk designs and Erica Wakerly.

New products are regularly showcased at local shows or at trade exhibitions in the UK such as Design Interiors. The company also runs an extensive advertising campaign showcasing products in interior design magazines such Elle Decoration, Living Etc and BBC Good Homes.
